Today we are doing something interesting-
AJ is making a video from the still images we recently shot in Chicago for a technology company.
The idea is to show the process (before/after) we went through in creating an image for the cover of an annual report.
Starting with nothing...a blank slate...an empty room.
First- we had to find a place to shoot where we can turn off the ambient light, make the room dark, set up a studio, not bother anyone.
...but still have the idea we are on location. We chose a long corridor where we could use a telephoto lense to throw the backgound out of focus.
Second-gathering wardrobe, props and the product, finding a subject/model.
Third-lighting the background (add color), middle ground (subject) and foreground (product).

and finally-getting the correct expression on the face.
Talk to you soon.
